Job DescriptionA fantastic opportunity for an ADAS-qualified Diver to join the Huon team at our Storm Bay region.
The role As a Diver, you play an integral part in ensuring maintenance of Huon's surface and sub-surface infrastructure, providing support through general dive and farm attendant duties.
Reporting to Subsea Management, your responsibilities include: Undertaking repairs to nets, equipment, and other general maintenance.
Undertaking subsea infrastructure inspections as required.
Rigging and retrieving mortalities.
Located at our Storm Bay site, this opportunity operates on a full-time basis with a 7-day on, 7-day off roster.
About you
You are an excellent communicator with the ability to build positive working relationships with a diverse team.
You can make sound decisions with proven experience in meeting tight deadlines and managing competing priorities.
You are self-motivated with the ability to work autonomously and within a team.
You can undertake the physically demanding requirements of this role in a safe manner.
You have a keen eye for detail and a proactive focus on continually looking to improve processes.
Qualifications
Certificate III in aquaculture (Diving) ADAS Part 2 Restricted Dive ticket (or equivalent).
A current Dive medical or ability to obtain.
Current First Aid and Oxygen Resuscitation Certificate.
A current and valid Driver's licence.
