Test Analyst

Your contributionUsing your understanding and experience in delivering strategic testing planning and analysis, you will:

- Manage various types of testing in line with the Test Strategy, including the provision of test environment, technical support, and documentation reviews.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of testing and technical specialisms and provide expert advice and guidance on all aspects of test planning and execution.
- Manage ICT testing resource requirements according to project schedules to meet project milestones.
- Lead the User Acceptance Test planning, scheduling, preparation of testing scripts and report development.
- Conduct and manage the overall testing process in complex integrated systems.
- Monitor and evaluate testing progress and risks and assist with reporting on these items appropriately to key stakeholders.
- Initiate, influence, and maintain relationships with and between key internal and external stakeholders facilitating effective communication channels to promote the successful delivery of testing activities including feedback mechanisms, defect triage and management of expectations.
- Develop and maintain procedures and documentation about testing activities.
- Support implementation activities for software releases.
- Provide advice relating to systems implementation to ensure that functionality aligns with established business requirements and functional models.
- Provide knowledge transfer and training to other team members to enable ongoing support of the solution.
- Any other tasks as directed from time to time as directed by your supervisor.

This position reports to the Director Technology, Data and Strategic Projects and has no supervisory responsibilities.
What we are looking for For this role, we will consider how well you:

- Demonstrate your excellent understanding of testing methodologies, tools and techniques within a complex IM/ICT program/project(s) environment.
- Demonstrate experience in the implementation of quality testing methods and frameworks to ensure the integrity of testing and an ability to develop project test strategies, test products and cases.
- Demonstrate experience in all phases of testing, including plans, resources, costs, timescales, test deliverables and auditability for large, complex ICT program/project(s).
- Demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key internal project stakeholders and external technology vendors in order to partner with and engage them in delivering the required ICT outcomes.
- Demonstrate high level analytical, conceptual and problem-solving skills with a proven record in the assessment and evaluation of testing requirements within a complex ICT environment.
- Demonstrate experience executing testing cycles and activities within a complex project or organisation.

There are no mandatory qualifications for this role, however previous experience in complex integration solutions such as Dynamics 365 or other Microsoft enterprise systems will be highly regarded.
