Overview
Are you passionate about making a difference in mental health? Join QCS as a Senior Mental Health Clinician and help shape a growing multidisciplinary team including psychologists, social workers and occupational therapists. You will deliver high-level clinical services in correctional centres, managing complex assessments and interventions to support wellbeing and safety.
Responsibilities
Applying behaviour change models, developing and/or reviewing behavioural support management plans
Providing clinical supervision and mentorship to promote a supportive environment while developing critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills within the team
Being accountable for your own professional development, maintaining clinical practice knowledge and expertise through active learning within the team and by engaging in professional development activities
Operating independently to provide advice, undertake clinical consultations, and problem solve diverse and often complicated situations
