You will work as part of a team that values teamwork and flexibility to assist each other where required.
The role requires an experienced 'hands-on' individual who can work day and afternoon shifts and be on call.
This position is within the Maintenance Team, located in Dandenong South, reporting directly to the Facility & Maintenance Manager.ResponsibilitiesProven understanding of the operation and maintenance procedures of all site equipment.Uphold an innovative approach to improve efficiency and performance in all areas.Work in a highly dynamic manner to minimize downtime and optimize plant efficiency.Ensure timely and effective completion of all maintenance tasks.Work autonomously and as part of a team.Exercise strong planning and organizational skills.Undertake shift work and respond to on-call requirements.Perform troubleshooting analysis.Contribute to maintaining a zero LTI (Lost Time Injury) site.Maintain excellent communication skills.Required ExperienceMechanical trade qualifications.Maintenance fitter trade qualifications, preferably in manufacturing.Experience in food/FMCG manufacturing.Confined Space certification.EWP (Elevated Work Platform) license.Forklift license.Knowledge of servicing equipment, including mechanical components, bearings, and pneumatics.Experience with maintenance databases.Ability to access and reply to emails.Preferred ExperienceAt least 3 years in a food manufacturing environment with compliance standards.TIG welding experience.Knowledge of interpreting spare parts.Experience in maintenance planning.What we offerAmazing leave benefits such as Paid Parental Leave, Wellness Leave, and more.An inclusive workplace culture focused on quality, customer service, and environment.Free parking and on-site canteen facilities.We are a global leader in taste, aroma, and nutrition, offering a broad range of natural solutions and accelerating our growth strategy.
