Senior Data Engineering Position
We are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to design and implement robust, scalable, and secure data platforms. The successful candidate will have extensive experience in architecting and leading the development of cutting-edge data solutions.
This is an excellent opportunity for a senior data engineer to leverage their expertise in modern data stack technologies, including event-driven and batch data ingestion and pipelines, data visualization and reporting, and data governance.
The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills and be able to work closely with data architects, analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
The primary focus will be on designing and implementing the data platform using modern data stack technologies, including cloud-based architectures and containerization.
A bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field is required, along with 10+ years of experience in a data engineering-related role. Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms.
Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and engineers to deliver high-quality data solutions.
Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
Lead incident response and root cause analysis for data platform issues.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer engineering, computer science, or a related field.
10+ years of experience in a data engineering-related role.
Excellent English communication skills.
Proficiency in modern data platform engineering.
Hands-on experience with end-to-end data platform engineering design and implementation.
Experience with automation across engineering.
Familiarity with modern data platform technology stack with open source tools preferred.
Experience with GitHub, PR process, CI/CD pipeline, and code/release management.
Proficiency in public and private cloud, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker.
Expert in streaming technologies and ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Expert database technologies and data lake storage.
Expert in Data analytics and reporting.
Expert in Data Governance.
Proficiency in at least one programming language, preferably Python and Java.
Knowledge of AI/MCP is an advantage but optional.
