**About the role**

Working in our Canberra studio, you will inspire and lead project teams and clients successfully though a variety of design-led projects. You will be part of a collaborative, dynamic and creative team of people who are passionate and committed to transforming the public experience within multiple sectors. Your role will be varied and challenging, with the primary role of winning, leading and delivering projects with a focus on Behavioural Design, Strategy Design and/or Service Design.

In this role, you will form part of the design team in the Canberra studio. Working with the team you will be responsible for:

- Leading and managing small to medium projects with the Canberra and wider team, and delivering excellent outcomes for our clients
- Proactively building networks and strong client relationships
- Winning high impact work in-line with Canberra's business development strategy
- Playing a proactive role in the team's growth and personal development

**What you will bring**
- Values and culture: First and foremost, a positive attitude that aligns with ThinkPlace values and culture
- Project leadership and delivery: Proven ability to lead small to medium sized projects, inspire confidence in clients, create a sense of vision and direction for teams
- Speciality experience: A strong background in Behavioural Design, Strategy Design and/or Service Design, with experience in Design Thinking and Human-Centered Design
- Business development: Proven ability to generate and convert leads into high impact, profitable project work
- People leadership: Ability to build cohesion within the project teams you lead. You can mobilise people and get the very best out of them, giving them autonomy and space to be imaginative and innovative, and give them focused direction when they need it.
