We are currently working with a high-profile State Government department. They are looking to recruit an AO3 Accounts Payable whizz on a temporary 4-month position with possible extension.

We are looking for someone with Government experience.

Be apart of an integral State Government department that strives towards generating and building a sustainable future for all Queenslanders.

Responsibilities will include:

- Timely and accurate processing of all invoices received for payment and to undertake the payment of all creditors in a timely manner.
- Assist and provide input with the maintenance of Accounts Payable policies and procedures including financial systems and operations on a current basis.
- Control payment of Department's creditors in accordance with Department's payment policy and agreed terms of payment.
- Ensure daily administrative tasks relating to Accounts Payable functions are carried out efficiently and effectively.

About you:

- Previous government experience, **essential**.
- Minimum of 2 years accounts payable experience, **essential**.
- Must have high attention to detail and accuracy.
