Work within a multidisciplinary team across The Orange Door partner organisationsIncrease your take-home pay with up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefitsFull - Time, Ongoing Position based in Broadmeadows Your new role In this role as an Orange Door Practitioner, you will be responsible for working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, high-quality support to children, young people, and families experiencing family violence or requiring assistance with care and wellbeing.
You will act as a first point of contact, offering information, advice, and conducting risk assessments to guide appropriate responses.Day-to-day, you will report to a Team Leader from any of the partner organisations within The Orange Door, while receiving formal supervision from a Uniting Orange Door Team Leader.
Ongoing practice support and guidance will also be provided by The Orange Door Practice Leaders.

Your skills and experience Current Victorian Driver's LicenseMinimum qualification for this role is a Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent qualificationOR have relevant professional experience or have a related qualification relevant to child and family welfare as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitionersOR hold significant cultural knowledge and experience or lived experience, and have faced barriers to educational pathways as per the mandatory minimum qualifications for family violence practitionersKnowledge of MARAM and Best Interests of the Child FrameworkExperience in working within an intake settingPrevious experience in child and family services and/or family violence View the position description here.
