Our purpose-driven approach focuses on community development and addressing health inequalities.About The General Practitioner RoleWe are seeking an enthusiastic General Practitioner to join the Medical Services team on a full-time or part-time basis.
You will have the opportunity to work within and/or alongside one or more of our General Practice and Specialist Clinics, aligning with your areas of interest, including:General PracticeLymphoedema clinicPharmacotherapy clinicRefugee Health clinicSpecialist Paediatric Development and Behavioural clinicTrans and Gender Diverse Health clinic (gender-affirming care)Vitamin D clinicReporting to the Acting Medical Services Manager, we have full-time and part-time options available.Your Passion and CommitmentProvide high quality appropriate primary care services including management of acute illnessWork with the community to increase their capacity to make choices to enhance their health and well-beingRefer patients to other providers within YourCH and external servicesAdvise & respond to medical/health problems of patients including history taking, diagnosis, investigation & treatmentTo Succeed in This Role You Will HaveCurrent AHPRA registrationFellowship with RACGP or equivalentExperience with primary care and/or sexual health medical servicesSensitivity to the needs of marginalised people and their ability to access servicesFor further information about this role, please refer to the position description (available via the YourCH Careers Hub).
