**About this role**:
Unique opportunity for an experienced Product Designer/ Industrial Designer to join an established family business specialising in decorative Lighting design. Do you have a passion in creating unique products to compliment interior spaces and enjoy a collaborative design process with hotel designers, interior designers and well known retail brands? Take control of the creative direction and be part of a company that is heading towards being a major market leader in lighting design but also lives by it's values around work-life balance and flexibility.Key responsibilities
- Develop and design new lighting products
- Develop prototypes in house and liaise with overseas manufacturing
- Collaborate closely with Melbourne's supplier network and Designers
- Produce detailed drawings to communicate your designs for manufacturing

Skills and experience
- Tertiary Qualifications in Industrial or Furniture Design
- At least 5+ years professional local experience
- Proven track record of developing products or furniture
- Understand financial implications of designs and production
- Strong 3D modeling and CAD drafting required in Solidworks, Vectorworks, Inventor and/or AutoCAD
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Australian Passport holder or Permanent Resident, with full working rights locally
