Software Engineer for Data Infrastructure
We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the development of data infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and integrate new sources of audio data into our ingestion pipeline
Manage and extend cloud infrastructure for our ingestion pipeline, utilizing GCP and Terraform
Collaborate with scientists to optimize cost, throughput, and quality in data delivery
Participate in crafting the AI Team's dataset roadmap to power next-generation consumer and enterprise products
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
At least 5 years of industry experience in software development
Proficiency in bash and Python scripting in Linux environments
Experience with Docker and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts, along with proficiency in at least one major Cloud Provider (GCP)
Familiarity with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus
Ability to handle multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
