**About Stellarossa**

Stellarossa Coffee began in Brisbane in 2009, and since then, we've grown throughout Queensland and Northern New South Wales, with plans for further expansion Each café is locally owned and operated, meaning our franchise owners are emotionally invested in making the business work. At our stores, you will find unique menus featuring Stellarossa core dishes and local favourites.

**About the Role**

As an Experienced Barista at Stellarossa Banyo Cafe, you will be busy pumping out coffees and preparing cold drinks for dine-in and takeaway, while interacting with guests, taking their orders, and supporting your fellow team members. This is a casual position with lots of hours on offer, including weekend work, which is a must.

**Responsibilities**
**For Baristas**:

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train and mentor junior baristas.
- Dial in grinders to Stellarossa espresso recipe.
- Interact with guests, taking their orders and providing exceptional customer service.
- Assist with opening and closing duties.
- Support your team members and create a positive atmosphere.
- Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.

**For Kitchen Team Members**:

- Prepare and cook food according to Stellarossa's recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe kitchen environment.
- Support the team in managing kitchen operations and ensuring food quality.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients and menu items.
- Comply with health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a barista.
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and equipment or kitchen operations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment.
- Availability to work weekends is essential.
- A charismatic, engaging, bright, and bubbly personality.
- High energy and productivity levels.
- Openness to learning and following systems.
