Job Description
We're seeking a skilled Metal Machinist to join our team in Dalby.
If you have experience working with CNC lathes, a solid trade background, and a strong safety focus, we'd love to hear from you.
About the role
You will produce quality components for the oil and gas industry, including threaded parts and specialised assemblies.
Your responsibilities will include:
Setting up and operating CNC lathes and manual milling machines
Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
Performing precision machining to tight tolerances
Assembling components like ECP/ICP packers using approved jigs and fixtures
Maintaining and repairing machine components
Completing quality checks and production documentation

Desired Skills and Experience
What you'll bring
At least 3 years of CNC thread machining experience
A strong focus on quality, health, and safety
Current Driver's Licence and Australian work rights
Additional advantages include:
Forklift licence or First Aid certification
Experience with Fagor CNC controls
CAD skills and/or experience in oil and gas
