Overview Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel | Part-Time – Dare Brisbane City, Queensland, AustraliaRole An exciting opportunity exists for a Legal Counsel / Senior Legal Counsel to join the business on a part-time basis (3 days per week).
This role offers the chance to operate at a high level in a high performing private equity firm with flexibility and work-life balance.
As a key member of the team, you will work closely with senior leadership and external legal advisors across a diverse scope of work.Responsibilities Support with fund and deal executionCompliance management under the firm's AFSLDrafting and reviewing investment agreements, NDAs, fund documentation and a range of other commercial agreementsCompliance committee involvement and portfolio company supportOversight of policy updates and external-facing documentationProviding internal legal educationGeneral in-house legal dutiesAbout You / Qualifications 4+ years' post admission experienceGeneral corporate / commercial law experienceA sound understanding of the Australian financial services regulatory environmentStrong stakeholder management skills and sound commercial judgmentExperience in funds management or wholesale fund structures will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
Private practice lawyers and current in-house lawyers are equally encouraged to apply.
