About the Role

The main responsibilities of the Principal Information Officer role include the following:
Managing claims brought under the Personal Injuries Proceedings Act 2002 against the Department in relation to sexual abuse and serious physical abuse, including conducting searches and enquiries and liaising with the Queensland Government Insurance Fund and external legal providers
In addition, the role advises on Information Release matters across the Department in accordance with the attached Role Description
