You will be actively responsible for monitoring and maintaining the safety and cleanliness of our pool and water park aquatic facilities.This could be just the right role for you?
In this role, you will build positive relationships and interact with guests daily in a respectful, polite and friendly manner, enforcing the pool rules and ensure the facilities are being used safely.
Your key responsibilities include:Providing a high standard of customer service to our guestsSupervising guest facilities, interacting, communicating, guiding and setting boundaries and expectations, to ensure the pool rules are followed and a safe environment is maintainedMonitoring & Responding to Aquatic Facilities – pool & water parkActively maintaining a clean aquatic environmentEnsuring a safe workplace is maintained adhering to policies and proceduresCompleting daily checklists & report issuesIdentify maintenance issues, improvements, safety issues and risksAssist the food & beverage team to manage pool side or outlet servicesAssist the front office team with concierge/porter or reception duties, as requiredWhat you'll need to be successfulAvailability and flexibility to work shifts between 7.45am to 6.45pm on a rotating roster including weekends & public holidaysPrevious experience in an aquatic pool lifeguard role, in a 4-5 star hotel/resort, or similar environmentValid QLD Working with Children Check, essentialResponsible Service of Alcohol Certificate, essentialExperience administering first aid, strong swimming ability, knowledge of pool safety practices & high cleanliness standardsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills to build positive relationships with guestsDisplay a positive attitude, work well in a team environment & flexibility to support various areas of the resortShow attention to detail, use initiative and be proactive to work efficiently and take pride in your workAbility to respond to feedback, remain calm under pressure and resolve difficult situationsKnowledge of hotel/resort operations, local tourism sites & events, desirableExcellent personal presentationWe are OfferingCompetitive casual hourly rate + penalties evenings, weekends & p/hGenerous employee benefits & discounts on RACV products & 10 resortsEmployee of the month awards & recognition + healthy team cultureTraining, development and career progression opportunitiesLaundered uniformComplimentary parking onsiteThe RACV differenceCurious about where this role could take you?
