A Producer at PlaySide Studios is the core of the game delivery by empowering the development team of our wonderful games. The Producer ensures there is vision and develops this into a well-maintained plan. They are specialists in communicating this plan as part of ensuring smooth execution with the project team. As the pilot in part or all of delivery of a project, a producer works closely with project leads and/or managers to support effective agile practices, weaving insights from delivery back to product refinement. Producers are effective collaborators and liaise closely with discipline leads or directors to identify project needs and buy-in.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Identifying staffing requirements, with support of discipline leads, to ensure directors are informed so the team has right people at the right time
- Responsible for turning vision and strategy into action by roadmapping to milestone definition to engaging in task breakdown and estimation practices
- Drive the project on a daily basis - ensure the team is aligned, priorities and purpose are clear, and garners team buy-in
- Team health - Making sure people are being used effectively, ensuring the team is working sustainably, and keeping morale and engagement high
- Proactively identify opportunities for team member growth and development - working with their discipline leads on how you can help them grow and learn
- Insulate the team where appropriate, keeping the project team focused and free from distraction
- Proactive internal communication to ensure the team always knows what's ahead of them and are updated appropriately to any changes.
- Regular reporting product leadership to ensure agile product discovery and refinement.
- Communication with internal and/or external stakeholders to keep them updated on the project direction, changes, and status ensuring alignment
- Managing incidents for live projects - Investigating and prioritising live bugs, coordinating resolution, communicating learnings and results
- Ensuring we make the best possible verdicts on a day-to-day basis, as aligned towards existing strategy
- Risk Management - you should see risks coming before the team, and you should proactively identify ways to mitigate them
- Responsible for the adoption and effective usage of project management tools such as Hansoft, Jira, Confluence, Slack, etc.

**What You Bring To The Role**:

- A passion for making games collaboratively
- Experience shipping new games or shipping releases for live games
- Experience leading game development teams
- Experience in an Agile environment
- Strong Scope and Capacity planning skills
- Next level verbal/written communication
- Excellent time management and prioritisation skills
- Interest in the strength behind games in the current market
- Strong interest in professional development and a high quality bar
