**About the role**

The **Battery Technician** role at **Battery World Indooroopilly** is a full-time opportunity based in Indooroopilly, Queensland. You will be responsible for providing expert technical support and services to our customers, ensuring their battery and electrical needs are met efficiently and to the highest standard.

**What you'll be doing**
- Diagnose, test, and repair a wide range of batteries and electrical systems for a variety of vehicles and devices
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, offering guidance and solutions to meet their needs
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order
- Stay up-to-date with the latest battery and electrical industry trends, technologies, and best practices
- Contribute to the overall success of the Battery World Indooroopilly store through positive team collaboration

**What we're looking for**
- Proven experience as a Battery Technician or in a similar automotive/electrical role
- **Living In Indooroopilly or within 10 km's of the store address would be advantageous.**:

- A Manual current drivers licence
- Being able to work full time 5 days a week. You Being able to lift & fit large batteries weighing up to 60 kg.
- Being able to work if required on Weekends due to staff issues.
- **Dual Battery Setup and Solar Knowledge would be advantageous**:

- **Computer Skills - Eager to learn POS system**:

- A positive, hard-working & enthusiastic attitude
- Good communication skills - the ability to understand and explain technical products
- Able to participate in After Hour Callouts. (Paid Extra)
- Strong technical skills and knowledge of battery types, electrical systems, and diagnostic procedures
- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to communicate technical information in a clear, friendly manner
- A keen eye for detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately
- A passion for the automotive/electrical industry and a commitment to ongoing professional development

Pay: $27.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 per week
