**THE POSITION**

Due to recent growth, we are seeking an enthusiastic and hard-working individual to join our team located in the western Melbourne suburb of Altona North.

As an Automotive Accessory Fitter/Panel Assembler, you will be removing and replacing vehicle body parts, fitting aftermarket accessories, and a variety of related tasks, to prepare vehicles for delivery to our customers. A mechanical or auto-electrical background is desired; however, **if you have a mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude and are keen to learn, we will provide the training and support to shape your career**

**What you will do**:

- General automotive diagnostic and automotive body parts & accessory fitment
- Test and evaluate reassembly for safety and operability
- Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the compound and workshop
- Cleaning and polishing vehicles once repairs are complete
- Inspection of vehicles
- General yard duties

**What you will bring**:

- A 'manual' driver license (min. 3 years) essential
- Prior experience in Vehicle fitment and movement
- Automotive mechanical/electrical aptitude
- You will be a people person with a 'can do' attitude who is passionate, energetic and shows initiative
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness and ability to learn
- Proven skills in multitasking, managing your own time and meeting tight deadlines

**Nice to have**:

- Mechanical or auto-electrical qualification (or part thereof) desirable
- Prior experience in the auto industry advantageous
- Experience in the use of tools would be an advantage
