**The Opportunity**

Located in Ormiston, **Cleveland Gardens Retirement Living** is a large retirement living community, home to 200+ independent living units filled with gardens, croquet lawns, bowling green, a workshop, and much more Our Cleveland Gardens team have an opportunity for two **Gardeners** to join our team In this role, you will enjoy working closely with staff and residents to ensure all gardens, grounds, buildings and fixtures are well-maintained, presentable and safe for all to enjoy. If you love spending time outdoors or enjoy being hands-on completing light maintenance requests, and are looking for a friendly team to join - this is a perfect opportunity

**We have two permanent full-time opportunities available - Monday-Friday 7-3pm.**

**You will**
- Be responsible for the maintenance of all village gardens including weeding, mowing, hedging and green waste removal
- Attend to various maintenance requests around the village to create a safe environment for residents, visitors and staff
- Ensure projects/tasks undertaken are safe, timely and completed to a high standard
- Carry out preventative maintenance tasks around the community as per schedules
- Ensure all community spaces are appealing and safe for our community and visitors
- Build strong relationships with our residents and enjoy helping them to live their best lives with well-maintained areas.

**What you'll bring**
- An outgoing personality with an interest in making a difference every day and learning new skills
- Experience in General 'Handyperson' Maintenance or Gardening roles (highly desired)
- Current Police Check certificate (required, but if you do not possess, we can complete for you)
- Valid driver's licence and two (2) COVID-19 doses (required)
