**About us**

**BLC QLD PTY LTD **specialises in high-quality maintenance, delivering dedicated client relations on commercial landscape projects, with a key focus on safety and environmentally responsible practices.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager working as part of a dynamic team, you will be responsible for a variety of maintenance tasks.

**Qualifications & experience - preferred but not essential**:

- We would prefer our maintenance person / groundskeeper to have prior experience in a commercial setting but its not essential, you will be given on site training if required.
- The use power tools such as: whipper snipper, edger and blower etc.
- Ride on and push mowers.
- Horticulture knowledge and common tree/ weed recognition.
- A valid drivers licence and transport is essential.
- Related licences and qualifications also desirable, such as: MR licence, Chemical licence, first aid certificate, horticulture, gardening or landscaping certificates etc. We are happy to help you obtain certificates in the future by enrolling you in training courses if you'd like to advance within the company.
- Common sense and safety awareness is extremely important as you will be working on commercial sites with both the public and commercial contractors, which includes heavy machinery.

**Tasks & responsibilities**
- All grounds keeping and maintenance duties including:

- Mowing, Edging, Hedge trimming, Blowing, Tidying, Mulching and Weeding.
- You may also be required to undertake other general garden and landscaping tasks including:

- Soil spreading, Painting and Planting.
- The successful applicant will be working on commercial sites keeping the grounds, parks and sites well maintained and presentable.
- You will be supplied with all the tools required to undertake all tasks. It will be your responsibility to keep the equipment clean, tidy and well looked after.
- Must be reliable, hardworking and have an eye for detail.

**Benefits**
- The successful applicant will be paid between $27 and $34 per hour depending on level of experience and qualifications.

Casual trial period to begin; Hi Vis shirts and PPE will be provided but you must wear your own steel toe safety boots.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
