Our client is an established leading management consultancy that has a global presence, working with both the public and private sector, focusing on large-scale challenging projects across multiple disciplines (ie) Defence, commercial, road & rail, resources, health and education to name a few.
They are currently recruiting for a
**Project Controller /**
**Planner - Defence **to join their successful and growing team in their office in Sydney to assist with all pre and post contract planning, scheduling services, read drawings etc. Lead the team, provide technical support, liaise with stakeholders and project planning. Ideally having construction delivery experience on Defence projects.
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management or similar
- 5+ years' experience in a similar role
- Proven Defence experience
- Experience in the delivery of the full range of pre and post contract construction programming
- Knowledge of construction planning and programming principles, standards and methodology
- Strong analytical, problem solving skills and high attention to detail and quality of work
- Team player but also able to work autonomously
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Expertise in a number of planning and scheduling software packages, including Primavera P6, OPP, Cobra and Microsoft Project
- Excellent MS Excel and Word skills
