What you'll be doingPreparing and cooking a variety of cafe-style meals, including hot and cold dishes, fast food meals including burgers, fries and sandwiches using fresh, high-quality ingredients.Ensuring all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality, taste and presentationMaintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulationsProviding exceptional customer service and assisting front-of-house staff as neededWhat we're looking forHappy to support and guide Hospitality/culinary students who are studying Cookery or similar courses as they progress and developStrong working knowledge of food preparation, health and safety, and kitchen operations including a Food Safety CertificateExcellent time management and multitasking skills to work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work well in a team and maintain a positive, customer-focused attitudeCreative flair and passion for producing high-quality, delicious cafe-style mealsAbout UsWe are WA's only metropolitan race club and manage two venues – Ascot and Belmont Park Racecourses.
