**About the Opportunity**

Due to consistent growth across Berendsen Fluid Power, we are seeking a **Trades** **Assistant** to join our high performing team near Perth Airport WA 6105.
Are you looking for a long term role where you can learn, develop and work in a team that are passionate about what they do? This is the opportunity you have been looking for

**Your responsibilities within this role include;**
- Assisting with stripping and assembly of cylinders and hydraulic components
- Utilising overhead crane and special purpose equipment
- Operating various hand tools and workshop equipment
- Preparing cylinders for painting
- Packing jobs and preparing them for transport
- Loading and unloading jobs from trucks
- Exercising attention to detail and accuracy in completing job related documentation.

**About You**

To be considered for this role, you will possess;
- Previous experience in a similar Trades Assistant role
- Mechanically minded with a keen interest in Hydraulics
- Understanding of manufacturing processes or concepts
- Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
- Valid Forklift licence and the ability to operate hand tools
- Strong time management, reliability, a can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
- Valid Australian driver's licence and a safety first mindset.
