- To prepare customs clearance declarations for submission to customs in compliance with the national regulatory provisions and in adherence to the company's policies and procedures.
- Accurately classify & value import and export products for customs clearance
- Accurately update systems databases with appropriate information
- Ensure shipments are cleared within specified timeframes in line with approved Key Performance Indicators
- Liaise professionally and cordially with customers both internal and external
- Respond to all queries in a timely manner as defined by standard operational procedure
- Complete designated training within specified timeframes
- Assist with transport operations, booking deliveries, billings and Accounting.
- In addition to this, to perform tasks as requested, including, but not exclusive to, assisting in general Brokerage operations.
- Responsible for all aspects of the job to the Brokerage Manager.

**Qualifications**
- Knowledge of Government Regulations
- Standard Operational Procedures for Customs Import Operations.
- ICS and Third Party Systems
- Good geographical knowledge
- Accounting knowledge
- International freight shipping terms
- Possess elements of Expeditors Attributes and Culture
- Embrace Expeditors Mission statement
- General Mathematical knowledge, including but not exclusive to, dealing with Exchange Rates, Foreign Currency and General Ledger
- Complete understanding of the movement of Goods
- Road Transport Operational knowledge
