Success in this role will require the ability to leverage a combination of deep technical strength and practical skills to deliver robust and fit for purpose outputs.Position: East Browse Production GeologistLocation: PerthIndicative Term of Contract: 12 monthsWorking Arrangement: Monday-FridayResponsibilities:Leverage reservoir modelling skills to assist with the generation and maintenance of the Crux & Prelude field reservoir modelsProvide reservoir modelling support for resource assessments, forecasting, and reservoir management for the Prelude and Crux fieldsDeliver reservoir characterisation studies integrating all available static and dynamic dataDeliver the geological elements required for ongoing well operations, including HSSE critical activitiesAssist in the identification and maturation of incremental gas opportunitiesPrepare for, and participate in, multidisciplinary engagements including framing events, review sessions, peer assist discussions, etc.Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders located both locally and globallyBe able to work effectively in an experienced and diverse teamEnsure Production Geology standards are maintained and that best practices are implemented both in your own area of work as well via contribution to Production Geology discipline forumsRequirements:Extensive experience as a Production Geologist in the conventional hydrocarbon industry, with a strong track record of successful project deliveryReservoir modelling experience (must have) using Petrel (or equivalent software), including experience in management of uncertainties and working with seismic volumes and interpretations, preferably in West Australian clastic reservoirsExcellent data & information management capability, and demonstratable willingness to experiment with new workflows & efficiencyAn enthusiastic technical professional who is reliable and consistent in delivery of technical projects and is open to continuing to learn and adaptHave a high level of personal integrity and transparency with a learner mindsetStrong communication and presentation skills with the ability to lead engagements and integrate within a small but broadly skilled teamMinimum Qualified University Degree or equivalent in geoscienceOnly candidates with the right to work in Australia will be considered.Not the job you are looking for?
