Advanced Mobile IT is the leading provider of mobile computer solutions in Australia.

We are seeking a Trade Assistant to work closely with our team of Auto Electricians to assist with the installation of hardware equipment in vehicles.

This is a unique opportunity to gain hands on experience in an Auto Electrical trade and build your career while receiving on the job training.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assisting with the installation of mobile computing hardware both internally and externally to heavy vehicles, light vehicles and forklifts (i.e. comms systems, antenna's, power supplies, mounting brackets, cameras)
- Installation of other electrical hardware as required
- Troubleshooting both electrical faults and mechanical hardware faults
- Ensure customer's expectations are met and exceeded wherever possible

About you:

- Any trade experience welcomed
- Attention to detail and high level of workmanship
- Experience with RF an advantage but not essential
- Awareness of workplace health and safety regulations
- Highly motivated, reliable and enthusiastic
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to problem solve, diagnose and fix electrical issues well regarded
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- The ability to work flexible hours
- Australian permanent resident
- A current driver's license
- National Police Check required

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: $30.00 - $32.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
