**About the role**:
YHA Brisbane City is in search of a Receptionist to join their team on a casual basis. The front desk team plays a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service to guests and upholding the high standards expected of YHA properties.

**Day-to-day duties include**:
**Front desk**: Providing excellent customer service to property guests and contributing to the property's friendly and cheerful atmosphere, answering guest queries and providing helpful local knowledge and recommendations, checking in and out guests and providing them with information that will assist in an enjoyable stay, resolving any guest concerns or disputes and escalating to relevant management when appropriate.

**What are we looking for**:

- Previous experience in front desk reception, customer service in an accommodation setting.
- Good time management skills and the ability to work well under pressure
- Flexible availability 24/7 roster including night shifts, weekends and public holidays
- Excellent communication skills verbal and written
- Full Australian working rights with no restrictions
