About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled developer to contribute to the development of native mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms.
This exciting project offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and tools, and collaborate with experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
Create high-quality mobile applications for both Android and iOS platforms
Develop and maintain robust, scalable, and responsive UI components
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement features
Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate API-backed mobile app development
Maintain and improve existing codebase
Participate in agile development processes and contribute to continuous improvement
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience as an Android engineer with exposure to Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Java, and Android platform SDKs
Strong understanding of web services and API-backed mobile app development
Experience working with OAuth and secure authentication mechanisms
Comfortable operating in a Git-based development workflow (Git, JIRA, Bitbucket)
Experience within the full app development lifecycle
Demonstrable skill in building scalable, responsive UI components
Experience with automated testing (unit tests, functional tests, acceptance tests)
Passionate about User Experience and committed to delivering high-quality user interfaces
Experience with Clean and MVVM Architecture
Desirable Criteria:
Experience developing mobile apps within the financial services industry
'Full-stack' development skills, including design and development of RESTful APIs
Relevant tertiary education
Experience building cloud solutions on AWS or Azure
Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
