**Civil Engineering State Manager
- Engineering Consultancy Firm - Base Salary to 160k/year + Bonus + Equity - Brisbane (Hybrid Working Conditions)***

A financially secure company with a solid pipeline of work from a loyal client base. Operating for over 14 years and is a design and consulting firm providing their clients with civil engineering, project management and water servicing coordination services.

The Civil Engineering State Manager is a key member of the senior management team, responsible for nurturing a positive, team-oriented environment, growth of the Brisbane office, revenue, profitability, assisting in business development and managing select projects. You thrive on challenges and are motivated to lead and develop a team of Engineers and Designers in Brisbane.

**Responsibilities**
- Management of design development, preparation and/or administration of the contract documents, opinions of probable construction costs, client relations, staff supervision and mentoring.
- Business development will be an important focus for this position - manager will be responsible for involvement within community to facilitate growth of the Brisbane office with support from the Leadership team interstate.
- Focus on client satisfaction through excellent communication and designs that meet budget and time goals.
- Quality Control - Manage the delivery of all design aspects of Urban Development projects
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills that allow you to interact with existing and new clients, effectively and professionally.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering
- Current CPEng and RPEQ (or eligibility for) registration
- 10 + years of professional engineering design and project management experience
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment with tight deadlines and ability to adjust to project priorities and demands of multiple clients.
- Good knowledge of the Queensland market and existing relationships
- Excellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standards
- Prior leadership experience preferred.
- Strong business acumen skills
