The Opportunity -Novaskill is currently partnered a renowned and reputable business to offer a Civil Construction Apprenticeship, including on-the-job training with ongoing mentoring and support to help you startYou'll be completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction whilst gaining experience & developing relationships in the Civil Construction Industry.Learnings -Plan and organise civil construction tasksLearn to read and interpret plansUse hand and power toolsOperate small plant and equipmentFollow Work Health & Safety (WHS) proceduresPerform measurements and calculationsOutcomes -Experience liaising with real clients and stakeholdersSkills in working to project deadlinesExperience working on a real work site with colleagues and supervisorsThe ability to use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and civil construction equipmentA strong pathway to continue your study and enhance your career opportunitiesApprenticeship Suitability Recommendations -To succeed in this apprenticeship, we recommend you have -Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to use hand toolsComfortability working at heights and in confined spacesAn intermediate level of fitness to manage physical tasks such as shovelling, moving surveying equipment, and walking long distancesAbility to work well as part of a teamCommitment to safetyAbout You -Demonstrated commitment to completing your study whilst balancing workingHave time management, attention to detail, planning and organisational skillsWilling to work hard and complete the jobDrivers Licence & Reliable Transport is a mustWhite Card or willingness to obtainNovaskill is about enriching people's lives and cultivating futures.
