Ideally, you will be an experienced professional capable of working independently across both Nuclear Medicine and PET-CT.You'll be part of a dedicated modality-based team, supported by a wider multi-modality clinic environment.
Our clinics are equipped with a Siemens Biograph MCT 64 Flow PET/CT and a Siemens Symbia Intevo Excel gamma camera, offering advanced nuclear medicine imaging capabilities.Canberra Discover a foodie paradise paired with world-class art, stunning natural landscapes, and family friendly fun all just moments away.

It's even more than you imagine and it's ready for you to explore.This is a full-time locum position, Monday to Friday during standard clinic hours, working across our Braddon (Nuc Med) and University of Canberra (PET-CT) sites.Key Responsibilities: First and foremost, provide compassionate and quality patient care, taking responsibility for patient welfare and confidentiality.
Perform a range of Nuclear Medicine/PET procedures, to produce images of the highest diagnostic quality possible.
Interpret requests and perform appropriate procedures in accordance with relevant legislation and department policies.
Commit to continuous improvement by maintaining current knowledge and upskilling in new techniques/advances.
About You:Alongside your passion for patient-centred care and Nuclear Medicine/PET Scientist qualifications, you will also have: Effective communication skills and interpersonal skills.
The ability to work autonomously and excellent time management skills.
High attention to detail.
A Radiation Use Licence for your state or territory (or the ability to attain one).
AHPRA registration as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
