**Reading Rock Stars** is on the lookout for a dedicated Teacher Assistant to support our team of experienced tutors in delivering transformative reading, writing, and spelling programs to children aged 3-12. This part-time role is perfect for a university student currently studying a related field, offering the chance to gain valuable experience and make a significant impact on children's literacy.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist lead tutors with general classroom management and activities.
- Support marking of assignments and assessments.
- Help develop and organize teaching materials and resources.
- Engage with students during multi-sensory hands-on activities, crafts, and educational games.
- Maintain a supportive and child-safe teaching environment.

**Desired Qualifications and Skills**:

- Currently pursuing a degree in education, early childhood education, or a related field.
- Proficient in Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, Word, OneNote, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively manage time and tasks.
- Enthusiasm for working with children and contributing to their educational journey.

**Work Schedule**:

- 2-3 days a week, including evening hours after school until around 7 PM on weekdays.
- Flexibility to work on Saturdays from 8:30 AM to 5 PM during the school term is a plus.
