About the Opportunity We have an exciting full-time permanent opportunity for a Service Electrician to join our Asset Services team based at Hendra.
As a Service Electrician for CV Asset Services, you will be responsible for: The safe and efficient delivery of electrical maintenance and minor works projects in the Commercial, retail and industrial sectors of the electrical industryPreventative maintenance compliance testing on critical infrastructureDiagnosing and repairing faults on all equipment and installations to ensure safe, optimum operation is sustainedReading, reviewing and interpreting maintenance and repair manuals and installation drawingsDelivering works within the timeframes required as per maintenance contractsProviding outstanding customer service and technical solutions to key clients, whilst ensuring a high level of communication Assisting the Service Delivery Manager with quoting and project deliveryMaintaining regular communication with your team and supervisorsActive participation in paid on-call roster once a week every 2 months on average About You Current Queensland Electrical Workers LicenceCurrent C class Drivers' Licence (manual)5+ years of experience in the service maintenance industryAbility to complete and pass pre-employment and ongoing drug and alcohol screeningDemonstrated experience in electrical service/maintenance project worksGood computer and application literacy, and confidence in completing works on mobile application platformExcellent time management and organisational skillsDedicated commitment to electrical standards, regulations, and safe work practicesMotivated to work autonomously and within a team environment, playing an active role within the broader teamHigh Risk Work Licence, including EWP and Scissor - desirable but not essentialCommunications and Data Cabling License with endorsements - desirable but not essentialCertificate IV in Hazardous Areas - desirable but not essential As you will be working in secure and sensitive environments, you must be an Australian Citizen and also be able to obtain a current police clearance.
