Project Controller

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Graduate Engineer / Project Controller to join our Shailer Park team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Project Engineer you will contribute to the planning and co-ordination of delivery on our Resources and Energy projects to the required standards, on time and within budget while exceeding our client expectations for technology projects.

**About the Role**
This is a busy and diverse role which will require you to work with a high degree of autonomy within the project team and to be adaptable and versatile throughout the project phases (design, construction and close out).

The design phase (off site) will see you supporting project design activities, while the construction phase will challenge your project control skills and will require you to be onsite on a 2:1 roster, (DIDO with camp accommodation provided for approximately 12 months), and finally, the close out phase will conclude the success delivery of the project and all associated activities.

Your duties throughout the project will include but are not limited to:

- Design and project support
- Identifying planning and programming procurement and compliance
- Project document control
- Procurement
- Ordering of materials and stock management
- Analysis and reporting (including project, financial and governance reports)
- Project Compliance and Quality Assurance
- Coordination of civil works, employees, subcontractors, plant and equipment, permits, etc.
- Management of project warranties and invoicing

**About You**
Your initiative, personal drive, motivation and resilience will see you succeed along with:

- Tertiary qualifications (Civil Engineering/Project Management or similar)
- Demonstrated construction experience (essential)
- A general understanding of telecommunication networks
- The ability to work in a fluid work environment
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills both verbal and written
- Sound problem solving abilities
- Ability to demonstrate leadership with strong time management
- Construction white card
- Current drivers' licence
- 4WD training (beneficial - training will be provided)
