Our client is a family owned supplier of machinery to the timber and truss industry which is experiencing constant growth. To this end, we are seeking the services of a Technical Services Officer to support their Machinery department based on the northern Gold Coast.

On a day-to-day basis, your duties will include:

- Assisting in installation of machinery software and systems on-site
- From time to time, minor mechanical and electrical machinery work
- Providing remote support to customers, along with further troubleshooting on site where required
- Assisting/supporting the machinery design process in line with identified trends/issues
- Provision of customer/end user training
- A trade or tertiary background in a mechanical or electrical discipline
- Experience in machinery installation and maintenance
- Skills/knowledge in IT - software, hardware, networks
- High-level troubleshooting skills and processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills and focus

Due to the customer support nature of the role, regular travel is required locally and interstate. Some overseas travel may also be required from time to time.
