**MECHANICAL ASSEMBLER**

Digga is Australia's leading manufacturer of Machinery attachments for the Earthmoving & Construction industry. A multi-award winning, global company, with 5 state of the art facilities worldwide, our product & passion for providing total customer solutions is second to none.

The opportunity now exists for a professional and driven Assembler to join our team. You will be a mechanically minded person who has the ability to assemble and disassemble a wide range of Digga/Kanga products and not be afraid to get your hands dirty. You will be highly energetic and that take pride in your work and your working environment to maintain our company standards.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Assemble various products as per job instructions
- Carry out necessary checks as per specifications
- Communicate with Supervisor regarding any parts discrepancies when necessary
- Clock jobs through company system
- Ensure housekeeping is ongoing by maintaining a clean and safe workplace

**To be successful ideally you will have**:

- A background in mechanics or a mechanical aptitude
- Demonstrated experience and skill set relevant to assembly functions
- Excellent time management skills
- Sound computer skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Previous experience in a similar assembler role will be advantageous. You will receive on the job training but ideally you will have the ability to follow instructions, learn quickly and work unsupervised in order to meet deadlines.
