About the Role
We are seeking a Maintenance Fitter to join our Ermington Bakery team. This role is responsible for the maintenance, repair and improvement of equipment to ensure optimal plant performance, managing planned repairs and unplanned breakdowns effectively while maintaining best practice and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include:

- The delivery of reliable, efficient and safe routine preventative maintenance activities
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues
- Responding to breakdowns
- Working with the Maintenance Manager and Supervisors to conduct root cause analysis
- Maintaining all registers, logs and systems to track repairs, notifications and work activities
- Liaise with Production Supervisors and machine operators about performance of equipment
- Develop & maintain a close and collaborative working relationships across the Maintenance, Production, Planning and Engineering teams

**To be successful in this role you will have**:

- Trade certification as a Mechanical Fitter
- A safety mindset with a strong commitment to ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others
- Demonstrated experience as an industrial Fitter, preferably in food manufacturing
- Working knowledge of CMMS (MEX preferred)
- Ability to diagnose equipment issues and identify problems at root cause
- Your forklift license, working at heights and confined space tickets would be highly regarded
