Our client, an esteemed player in the resource mining sector, is currently seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join their Brisbane HQ. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of a global organisation with a focus on resource mining investments in Australia.

As a key member of the Finance team, you will provide crucial financial and administrative support to the division and its stakeholders. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

- Processing accounts payable, including coordinating invoice approvals, system processing, and payments.
- Handling accounts receivable tasks, including system processing and sales receipting.
- Managing financial institution accounts, including payment confirmations and general administration.
- Monthly reconciliations and preparation of monthly journals, accruals, and reversing journals.
- Maintenance of the loans register and conducting interest calculations.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams, and Word.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Experience with SAP system (highly regarded but not essential).
