**Role Description**

The Jindalee Operational Radar Network (JORN) Enterprise Commercial Lead will be accountable for the provision of:

- Commercial oversight and management of all commercial, procurement, and contracting activities.
- Provision of commercial advice and support to two Directors to meet policy and Commonwealth Legislative requirements.
- Development of business across the Enterprise.
- Professional development and mentoring of Enterprise commercial personnel.

The Enterprise Commercial Lead is also the primary point of contact for significant commercial matters related to the sustainment contract and will provide direction and guidance to the Sustainment Contract Manager.

Key activities will include:

- Identifying, overseeing, co-ordinating, and progressing:

- Commercial tasks and activities, ensuring completion within specified time frames.
- Commonwealth and contractor obligations under the JORN Mid Life Upgrade and Sustainment contracts.
- Leading Commercial staff to:

- Ensure a consistent Commonwealth approach across Sustainment and Acquisition contracts.
- Identify potential commercial impacts to Sustainment from Acquisition activities.
- As directed by the Director, engaging with the BTL Contractor to:

- agree measures for the assessment of the Annual Performance Score.
- agree amendments to contract Other Performance Measures (OPM) such that they are fit for purpose.
- Review and assess key contract deliverables and engage with the Contractor to enable development and agreement of non-conforming contract deliverables such that those deliverables meet Commonwealth requirement.
- Identifying Enterprise Commercial risks, and subsequently develop and implement appropriate risk mitigation strategies.
- Providing Contract management and Commercial Advice to ensure compliance with Legislative and Contractual obligations.
- Drafting and revising correspondence, procurement documentation, briefs, and plans.
- Leading the Commercial Team, including delivery of Commercial Capability Uplift activities, development of standard operating approaches, and interpretation and reporting of Contract KPI and OPM.
- Providing support as required to the Jacobs Outcomes Commercial Lead Oversight, management, professional development, and mentoring of Enterprise commercial Staff.
- Developing Business Acumen and commercial understanding across all business elements.

**Key Requirements**
- At least 10 years demonstrated experience in the role description above.
- Extensive experience in the management andoversight of complex Defence Contracts either above or below the client line

and expertise in Defence procurement policy and process.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely withclients and other contractors in a tightly integrated team.
- Previous experience leading commercial teams anddelivering capability uplift programs.
