**Health Information Services Clerk**
**Permanent Part Time (per fortnight) -48 hrs**
**Hours - 08:30-17:00**

**About the role**
Health Information Services currently has an opportunity for three highly motivated individual to join our team.

The role calls for applicants with a high degree of flexibility, initiative, an eye for detail and willingness to learn. In addition, high level communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work well within a tight knit team are paramount. Well-developed computer and time management skills are essential and the successful applicant will need to have the ability to work under pressure in order to meet internal deadlines.

**Key Responsibilities**
Duties include but are not limited to:

- Reception and office duties
- Scanning clinical documentation into the Digital Medical Record
- Retrieval and distribution of medical records on demand

- Desirable : Do you have previous clerical or clinical experience?
- Desirable : Do you have experience in a similar role within a hospital environment?
- Desirable : Do you have ability to understand and use medical terminology with accuracy?
- Essential : Do you have the ability to tactfully and confidentially obtain and refer information from customers, management & staff?
