Our goal is to deliver exceptional, simple care — and we couldn't do it without you.Job Description:The Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Rad Tech performs advanced diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures and peripheral vascular procedures within the Cardiac Cath Lab.
Responsibilities include scrubbing, monitoring, assisting providers, responding to patient distress, and managing equipment quality control and inventory.
A 30-minute response time to CHVH is required.Qualifications:Prepare patients and equipment for cardiac procedures, including site preparation, draping, instrument and catheter setup, and calibration of pressure transducers.Ensure high-quality x-ray images and maintain related equipment.Assist during procedures, including maneuvering catheters.Monitor and record hemodynamic, electrical, and angiographic data using specialized equipment.Participate in life-saving measures such as defibrillation and CPR.Transport patients to nursing units as needed.Maintain adequate stock in the procedure rooms.Perform professional, clinical, and technical competencies of the assigned unit.Communicate effectively with the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.Education and License Requirements:Associate degree in Radiology or completion of a radiography certification program.Current ARRT (R) certification and Indiana Radiologic Technologist license.Why Choose Community?
