**Motor Assessor | NSW Metropolitan**

**You'll be responsible for**:
- Deliver best practicable assessment outcome, in either repair cost or total loss (i.e. Closed File Reviews, Open File Reviews etc.).
- Comply with motor assessing process, guidelines, allowances. parts policy, severity coding requirements and repairer standards.
- Contribute to improving the customer service of Selected and non-Selected repairers.
- Provide customers with access to the prompt resolution of complaints, including repair warranty, service related and other issues.
- Meet or exceed productivity objectives.
- Wherever practicable complete total loss reports within 24 hours of assessment.
**Important to your success**:
- Current Trade Qualification licence within the motor vehicle repair industry.
- Experience in repair shop management / estimating and in motor vehicle assessing practices and in the provision of damaged vehicle quotations.
- A current driver's license.
- Knowledge of the Motor Vehicle Insurer and Repair Industry Code of Conduct.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
- Ability to navigate complexity and ambiguity and provide pragmatic commercial solutions to meet stakeholder expectations.
- Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting and communication tools.
