The Senior School engages with and educates approximately 1000 students across Years 7 to 12, including residential (boarding) students.

This is a wonderful opportunity for a Teacher of Religious Education to join our learning community. The position is initially offered for a fixed term for 2025 with the potential for ongoing employment.

**Accomplished and engaging Graduate and Masters level Teachers are most welcome to apply.**

Classes assigned to this role span Year 7 - to 12. The ability to teach Year 11 Text and Traditions would be highy regarded.

There is an option for both full time or part time employment.

**Selection Criteria**
- Appropriate qualifications and experience for teaching Religious Education from Year 7 with the potential to teach VCE studies, now or in the future
- Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School is required
- Accreditiation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is preferred
- A commitment to educating children in Catholic Faith and Identity in a Jesuit school
- Demonstrated ability to act with and foster collaboration and effective teamwork
- Exceptional organisational, administrative and operational skills
- Demonstrated knowledge of, adherence to, and leadership for child safety, the Child Safe Standards and an exceptional culture of child safety
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills, especially for the benefit of students, staff and parents
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment that requires self-direction, team-orientation and the ability to effectively handle pressure in a manner consistent with Ignatian values
- Theoretical and practical knowledge of current educational trends in teaching and learning
- Ability to develop, cultivate and maintain professional relationships with staff and in the wider school community
