**About the Role**:
This is an exciting permanent opportunity for a highly engaged Protective Security and Network Facilities Analyst to join our team.

In this role you will use your knowledge and experience of protective/physical security concepts and principles to uplift and maintain business reporting, data management and analytics across the various IT operating systems and software used by the protective security and network facilities management team.

With a focus on continuous improvement, trend analysis, and troubleshooting, this role also supports systems issues identification and problem resolution. The role undertakes liaison with internal and external stakeholders regarding data quality, generated reports, associated analytics, and will play an important function in this wider team in dealing with the various threats, risks, issues and tasks at hand.

**What you'll deliver**:

- Drive continuous improvements by staying abreast of new protective/physical and facilities management technologies and recommending change.
- Identify and implement innovative concepts to drive maturation of CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy's protective/physical security and network facilities management systems.
- Provide assistance and support to third party system administrators regarding systems upgrades, maintenance, issues identification and problem resolutions.
- Assist in developing, maintaining and continually refining the overarching policies and procedures that govern protective/physical security and network facilities management systems.
- Ensure quality data management is maintained within relevant databases, systems and repositories to ensure accuracy in reporting and analytics.
- Conduct and support analytics including hindsight, insight and foresight opinions and where necessary, make recommendations to remediate identified gaps.
- Develop targeted education and training programs including where necessary the coaching of wider business team members on their use of protective/physical security and facilities management systems.
- Liaise with public law enforcement and security agencies regarding official requests for and the provision of protective/physical security systems data.

**To succeed in this role, you'll have**:

- Well-developed working knowledge of protective/physical security concepts and principles.
- Current knowledge and experience of protective security and/or facilities management systems including programming of electronic access control, closed-circuit television (CCTV) and physical intrusion detection will be highly regarded.
- Formal qualifications in security risk management will be advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong excel and reporting skills including extracting data from systems.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills
- Capacity to present incident or issue briefing notes and business case opportunities
- Experience with negotiation and problem solving.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail is essential in all matters.
- Security Adviser licence (Victoria Police) will be highly regarded but not mandatory.
