Our diverse services - from salary packaging and fleet management to disability support - aim to enhance your financial wellbeing and empower your aspirations.The Workday and Payroll Specialist will support the Workday Functional Manager in the effectiveness and efficiency of Workday, assist with payroll related activities and provide support and guidance to the People, Culture & Communication (PC&C) team, people leaders and employees to promote self-service functionality.This is a one year limited tenure role.The role will partner with the business to review configuration and implement approved changes, including testing, deployment, and support activities.
They will provide support to the Payroll Officer, will develop, create, and maintain a variety of reports in Workday, as well as utilising other organisational tools and available technologies to meet both internal and external stakeholder requirementsThe RoleEnsure payroll is processed accurately and on time - including auditing, reconciliations, and lifecycle validationMonitor data integrity and compliance through scheduled audits and system checksLead the ongoing configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday Business ProcessesPartner with PC&C, IT, and Finance to enhance service delivery and streamline processesManage organisational security roles and resolve user-based security issuesProvide integration and reporting support across Workday architectureSupport Workday inbound/outbound integration enhancements and issue resolutionDeliver break/fix support and regression testing for Workday interfacesPromote self-service functionality through training and communicationMaintain system documentation, dashboards, and reporting cataloguesDrive successful deployment of Workday bi-annual releases, prioritising features and assessing change impactUphold change management processes to meet audit and regulatory requirementsYou will bring:At least 2 years' experience in a HRIS and / or Payroll role.Knowledge of HRIS's and / or Payroll reporting tools.Proficient in HRIS and / or Payroll business process, data maintenance and security configuration.Experience in HRIS and / or Payroll implementations, testing and deployment activities.Knowledge of People organisational policies and practices and current employment legislationWhat we can offer you:Novated leasing benefits and discounts12 weeks paid parental leave and access to our Parents PortalComprehensive learning and development opportunities to support your career growthSonder digital wellbeing platform, providing personalised support 24/7, plus annual flu vaccinationsDefault Income Protection Insurance reimbursed for members of the MMS Default Super FundExempt Employee Share PlanEmbracing our value of Everyone Matters we hold a collective commitment to foster an environment where all differences are valued and respected.We encourage individuals from all backgrounds including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, those caring for someone or living with a disability, LGBTQIA+ and culturally diverse applicants to apply.We embrace hybrid working and welcome conversations about flexibility.Please note all successful candidates will undergo background checks (including criminal history and ASIC checks) and a NDIS Workers Screening Check if appropriate.
