**Who are we looking for?**
We are seeking a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Perovskite Solar Cells to join School of Chemistry and Physics, Faculty of Science.

We are looking for a motivated postdoc with a strong experimental background in chemistry and materials to develop stable and high-efficiency perovskite solar cells and mini-modules. You will be embedded in a collaborative research project led by Australian Research Council Laureate Fellow Professor Hongxia Wang at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), which will enable you to interact and collaborate with other academic researchers and industrial partners in Australia. The solar cells laboratory has very well-equipped advanced facilities for synthesis and characterisation of materials, and assembly and performance testing of solar cells (in both laboratory size and in mini-module sizes). You will be working in a highly supportive and inspiring research environment, aiming to deliver cutting-edge research outcomes.

**What you need to succeed**
- Completion of a PhD or doctoral research in a relevant area of chemistry, physics, materials science and engineering.
- Demonstrated experience, expertise and skills in at least one of the following research areas:

- Perovskite solar cells: assembly and characterisation of highly efficient perovskite solar cells and modules
- Predication and discovery of new materials for next generation solar cells driven by machine learning.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and managing research projects and maintaining laboratories.
- Demonstrated effective collaboration and strong communication skills, to liaise with researchers in a team environment, internal and external stakeholders, and the wider research community resulting in positive outcomes.
- Evidence of active engagement in student supervision at undergraduate (Level A), graduate and postgraduate (Level B) levels.
