You are organised, adaptable, enthusiastic, and a strong communicator, skilled at multitasking in a fast-paced setting.The successful candidate will be someone who;Wants to further their career in veterinary nursingHas completed Cert IV Veterinary Nursing or Bachelor of Veterinary Technology and has at least 3 years nursing experienceHas a passion for specialty nursingIs enthusiastic and honestHas high standards and attention to detailAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work as part of a team, and independentlyExceptional time management and organisational skillsKnowledge of Rx works / Smart flow will be highly regarded (but not essential)Duties And Responsibilities IncludeInpatient treatments and carePatient recovery & monitoringIV catheter placement and fluid therapyTaking blood and using in-house lab equipmentSpecialist surgical and theatre nursingAnaesthesiaRadiology (including CT & MRI imaging)Ideally, we're looking for full-time candidates (38 hrs/wk), however part-time applicants will also be considered.Training and support will be provided on an ongoing basis, with encouragement to grow and learn new skills with further education, which is financially supported.Our offer to youAn opportunity to work closely supporting our Specialists, Senior Registrars, Residents and Interns.On-the-job training and support from team leaders, senior nurses, veterinarians and anesthetists.Above award remunerationYearly continued education allowance and access to a variety of employee perksDiscounts across Greencross and Petbarn networks.Discounts to Royal Canin & Hills Products for your petAn employer who is focused on well-being and providing staff access to our EAP programSound like your next role?
