Managing a team of Account Executives across WA, SA and QLD.As Sales Director, you will be responsible for the performance and development of all sales activities related to major accounts within your geographic region.
You'll lead a diverse, multi-location sales team, aligning their efforts with New Era's strategic goals and vision.
This is a pivotal leadership role focused on driving revenue, building long-term client partnerships, and fostering a high-performance sales culture.The following include but may not be limited to the responsibilities of the Sales Director:Lead and manage the national major accounts sales team, providing strategic direction, mentoring, and supportDevelop and execute market segmentation, territory planning, and resource allocation strategiesOwn sales forecasting, planning, and reporting to ensure alignment with regional and national targetsBuild strong relationships with key clients, understanding their buying criteria and decision-making processesCollaborate with the Minor Accounts team to identify and convert strategic opportunitiesIdentify commercial risks and assess the viability of new business opportunitiesDrive continuous improvement across sales processes, CRM adoption, and team capabilityRecruit, develop, and retain top sales talent to support ongoing growthCoordinate regular team meetings to review performance, share insights, and deliver trainingPartner with Marketing and Procurement to develop targeted campaigns and leverage vendor relationshipsLead tender responses and contribute to strategic pitches and proposalsRepresent the sales function in APAC and national leadership forums, contributing ideas and insightsMaintain strong relationships with key accounts for support and escalationPromote a positive, accountable, and client-focused team cultureWho we are looking forCandidates must possess a strong grasp of sales workflows and technical capabilities, as well as:5+ years of sales management experience in the technology industryProven success in meeting or exceeding sales goalsExperience leading remote teams across large geographic areasStrong understanding of the local IT industryTertiary qualifications and vendor sales certifications (desirable)What we offerA friendly team environment with a strong technical support networkBroad range of options for training and developing your IT skillsOpportunity to work with the IT industry's latest technologiesInternal career growth for high performers and IT super-starsCost price on products from our suppliersLunches and snacks providedReferral bonusNew Era Technology, Inc., and its subsidiaries ("New Era" "we", "us", or "our") in its operating regions worldwide are committed to respecting your privacy and recognize the need for appropriate protection and management of any Personal Data that you may provide us.
