Cloud Architect Opportunity
We are seeking a Cloud Architect to join our team in shaping and delivering a strategy to build mind share and broad use of cloud services with strategic accounts. This role will involve managing ongoing technical relationships and driving technical solution discussions.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop deep expertise in cloud technologies and broad knowledge of how applications and services are built on the AWS platform;
Drive technical solution discussions, dive into details with customer teams, and craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures;
Build relationships with customers and partners; act as a trusted technical advisor to influence stakeholders from technical teams to executives;
Accelerate adoption of cloud services while aligning short-term technology decisions with long-term goals;
Act as a thought leader by educating others, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers/blogs, and running workshops;
Collaborate with engineering and service teams to gather customer feedback and shape product direction;
Work with customers in the Australian Government, National Security and Defence; handle highly sensitive, time-critical work and strategic outcomes.
Qualifications:
7+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in software or Internet industries;
4+ years in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics;
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures;
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in software development or Internet-related industries, experience migrating or transforming legacy solutions to the cloud, experience with cloud technologies from a dev/ops perspective, ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences, including executives or clients.
